Our Story
Once upon a time, in the land of awkward high school memories, it was the night of Ladan’s sweet 16th birthday party in March 1998. Among the guests was a shy young man named Areyo, who made his way among the crowds. Ladan paid little mind to Areyo, who although she thought was the nicest guy, was not her type at all. The feeling was mutual for Areyo who only recognized Ladan as a member of the opposite sex and nothing more, as he only really cared about basketball and video games. Needless to say, nothing came of their encounter on that fateful evening.
With a snap of a finger, high school was over, and 14 years blurred past. Ladan and Areyo had a fate chance meeting at their gym parking lot. A friendship sparked that fateful afternoon, and before Areyo knew it Ladan’s incredible happiness and positivity infiltrated his heart.
The Proposal
As luck would have it, Ladan’s sister was planning an annual charity Gala with the theme ‘Once Upon A Time’. Areyo jumped at the opportunity to make the night a stage for their fairy tale to end and the Happily Ever After to begin. Areyo knew that Ladan would never in a million years guess that he would ever propose in such a public way.
The special evening piqued when the entire family gathered for a photo. The photographer started counting to three and suddenly Areyo dropped to his knee. The rest is history, and now comes the happily ever after!

If you’re up for some after-dinner dancing and libations please join us at Skandinavian Bar for the after party! Deejay John, our wedding DJ, will be spinning tunes at the club! Tables & bottles have been reserved!

Wedding Ceremony
Just like marriage, our wedding will be an adventure!
The happy couple will say “I do” at 5:30 pm at the ‘sunset terrace’ at the Royal Myconian Resort.

Immediately following the ceremony at Sunset Terrace.
Dinner Reception
Immediately following the cocktail reception at the Royal Myconian Resort, Room TBA.

Celebrate with the new bride & groom at the newest hot spot at Santanna Beach in Mykonos at 12:30 pm for an afternoon of sipping Greek cocktails and relaxation at cabanas reserved exclusively for our group.

Travel & Accommodation
Traveling to Mykonos
When purchasing your air travel, we recommend flying to Athens and taking the ferry to Mykonos.
It is cheaper to fly into Athens and the ferry is close to the Athens airport at Port Rafina.
Check the ferry website below to coordinate your Athens arrival time with ferry departure times.
Please give yourself enough time to pick up your luggage and get to the port.

We are excited to work with the Royal Myconian Resort where we will be having our big fat Persian Wedding! We want to make this the best destination experience for everyone under one ‘luxury roof’ for as long as we possibly can.
We have set up a VIP wedding package for all our guests at a rate of 330 Euros (approx $365 USD – changes daily depending on exchange rate) per night that includes the following:
